Newby Primary School

At Newby we believe it is important to give children as many first-hand experiences as possible. Each of our curriculum subjects has considered what enrichment opportunities they would like our children to have as part of the curriculum offer. These can be found on each of the Curriculum subject pages.

As part of our curriculum development work, the stakeholder panel felt it was important to have a range of experiences and opportunities for children to have had by the time they leave Newby. This is something we are developing and will incorporate trips out of school, visitors to school, residential visits as well as more routine opportunities e.g. Forest school.
