Safeguarding at Newby Primary School

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. All staff at Newby Primary School are trained to ensure they can keep the children safe whilst at school and also how to manage any issues children disclose about their lives outside of school too.

Should you have any concerns about your child or someone else's child it is your reponsibility to come and talk to a member of school staff. Equally, there are some useful links below to support you in keeping your child safe.

On this page you will also find many of the details of how we keep your child safe at school.

Useful Websites

Below are some useful websites with further advice and guidance. They are also places where you can report any concerns you have about children outside of school. Where you are concerned about a child in school, please continue to speak to school staff so that we can support children as required.
