We are  excited to welcome back some of our Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 children to school, from Monday 15th June.  If you have a child in one of these year groups, we will already have contacted you to discuss your child’s safe return.  As before, we will remain open for the children of key workers and other identified groups.  Meanwhile, we will continue to provide home learning for all our children on this website and through our home learning packs. We will also work on making sure everyone can return to school safely as soon as possible.  We hope you all stay safe and can’t wait to see you soon.

Welcome to Newby Primary’s resources! Here you will find helpful ideas and links to activities and resources while school is closed. We are a community and as such we want to help you through the challenging times we are all experiencing. We have grouped our resources into three main sections: Learning at Home, Wellbeing & Mental Health and Help for Families. These resources will grow as more materials become available. The staff at Newby are working very hard to make sure we continue to serve you, our learning community.

We also have some excellent E-Safety resources and advice on our website. Your child/children will likely be using the internet more than usual while we are all on lockdown. Make sure you understand how to keep them safe on the internet and when they are gaming online.

While Newby Primary is closed you can help your child to stay in touch with their learning in a number of ways.
